Harmony is more easily attained when we are able to discern where our expertise will be most appreciated. As the sign of balance, it makes a lot of sense that Libra would rule over the process of maintaining homeostasis, which is the bodies ability to sustain a stable internal environment despite any external disruptions. Suggesting that a well adapted Libra has the strength and stamina to remain harmonious in any situation. The Libra system works hard to regulate a variety of different organs through a dynamic equilibrium. With such a multifaceted task, Libra placements can easily get thrown off course when they over-indulge or restrict too harshly in areas such as diet, exercise, work, and even relationships. This creates a domino effect, causing imbalance in multiple areas of health. It is important to give attention to either side of a polarity to remain in flow, making sure to avoid excessive or limiting behaviors. Instead aiming for moderation on either side.

At - home ritual to reconnect to the Libra energy within you

One of Libra’s biggest lessons in life is learning how to balance we with me. So focused time for self-care can go quite a long way. If you’re able to pamper and luxuriate, this would be a good time to book a massage or a facial. Some other ways to connect with the Libra energy within you would be to engage in some sort of artistic or creative expression to mentally connect with your emotional side. You could also try some graceful sports or exercise like dancing, skating, tennis, yoga or tai chi.

Here is a ritual to perform at home to reset your energy and get in touch with the Libra within you:

Low Back Massage

Those with heavy Libra placements may find that they frequently deal with lower back pain and problems. Use this technique to help relieve that tension in this area.

On a mat, lying face up, take two tennis balls and place them under your low back (you can also use a foam roller if you have one). Gently roll up in down to massage the low back area.

You can also do this standing, by placing the balls up against a wall holding them up with your low back and then rolling them up and down.

Hot Towel Self Massage

Take a hand towel and run it under hot water (maybe adding essential oils to the towel to enhance the experience). Ring the towel so it is damp. Then fold the towel long ways and use it to roll along your neck, pulling it tight to give your neck a massage. Do the same along your lower back and your legs for an invigorating steamy self massage.

Chakra Balancing Visualization

As an air sign, libra can be quite heady. So engaging in meditation visualizations helps Libra to focus their mind while also feeling into their body.

Use this Chakra Balancing meditation to try and notice which one may be feeling excessive or deficient and help to balance them out.

Begin with a a few rounds of deep breathing. Then do a through body scan, noticing which areas may feel strong and which may feel weak. Notice each Chakra and feel its energy.

Beginning with the Root Chakra, visualize a red light shining through it, purifying the energy there as it steadily spins in a clockwise rotation.

Next move up to the Sacral Chakra, visualize an orange light shining through it, purifying the energy there as it steadily spins in a clockwise rotation.

Repeat this moving up the Chakras

Solar Plexus – Yellow light

Heart – Green light

Throat – Blue light

Third eye – Indigo light

Crown – Violet or White light

Now end your practice by visualizing all 7 Chakras rotating in perfect harmony.
