The delicately complex inner world of the Piscean psyche reflects it's anatomical rulership of the lymphatic system - an intricate network of vessels that gather and expel excess bodily fluids. This fluid starts as plasma and easily flows between the thin walls of the arteries to become lymph, it is then collected in the lymphatic system to be cleansed and returned to the blood stream. This process feels similar to Pisces' ability to hypnotically pass through the veils of awareness to access the deep wisdom of our subconscious, then translate those visions into clear intuitive messages for the spirit. An adaptive Pisces will be open enough to let these messages flow through them with ease but also strong enough to protect their openness from an overload of influence of the outside world. This openness mirrors that of the Pisces system, which if not properly cared for is susceptible to infections and toxins built up in the lymphatic system. Lowering the head below the heart encourages drainage from the lymphatic areas of the head, jaw, and chin, while the wide-legged stance activates the nodes in the groin region. Additionally, this posture fosters a sense of grounding and stability, particularly beneficial during the dreamy Piscean season.

At - home ritual to reconnect to the Pisces energy within you
As the ruler of the feet, indulging in a pedicure or a foot reflexology session can offer a wonderful opportunity to align with Pisces energy. However, here's a simple ritual you can perform at home:
Healing Bath
To begin, draw yourself a bath and light some candles. as a water sign, pisces feels at home submerged in the tub. Consider adding essential oils such as sweet orange, sandalwood or juniper berry.
Lymphatic Dry Brushing
While you wait for your bath to fill, grab a dry brush and use gentle strokes moving towards the heart and center of the body. this encourages blood and lymph to flow towards the heart and nodes for cleansing.
Acknowledge Feelings that Surface
During your bath make sure to allow any feelings you may have been hiding to reveal themselves in this safe space. truly feel them, acknowledge them and thank them for their wisdom.
Gua Sha
following the bath, make sure to add a gua sha routine to your skin care ritual, as gua sha is a healthy way to activate the drainage lymph nodes in your neck. along with reducing any water retention or lymph build up in the face and jaw.
Foot Massage
To conclude this ritual, take a meditative seat in the cross legged position, feeling the grounding sensation through your tailbone, grounding the misty Pisces energy.
After a few moments of focused breathing, staying in the cross legged position, lift a foot into your lap and begin to massage it.
Using your thumb to put pressure all along the bottom of your foot, giving special attention to the base of your big toe (the point where it connects to the foot) as that is the reflexology point for the lymph nodes of the neck.
It may also be beneficial to focus on massaging the ball of the foot which can aid in boosting the immune system and lungs.
